The Guardians
The Guardians were inspired by the Baule people of Ghana and the Ivory Coast. After researching the amazing imagery I thought my design techniques matched up with the indigenous cultural iconic styling and decided to capture the inspiration with my cardboading techniques. I also decided to increase the 3D effect with some more prominent modeling in the face.
